I have had the great opportunity to work with Teresa through a couple of her 30 day challenge workshops as well as the EI365 program. In both types of programs, Teresa provides bite sized learning with exercises to incorporate those lessons into daily life. As these lessons build, there is also time to reflect with fellow cohort members, which is a tremendous way of sharing ideas and providing encouragement to others - further embedding the learning. The EI365 program, with its lesson pacing and Teresa’s coaching through the community forum, has allowed me to really internalize what I am learning and practicing on a daily basis. Through these programs over the past two years, I have recovered a sense of self, a grounding, that has helped me make critical life decisions and put me in a better mindset to weather significant challenges. This year-long program focused on emotional intelligence has been an impactful experience that has sharpened both my self-awareness and my ability to navigate challenges with confidence. I’ve learned to communicate more directly and with clarity, even in difficult situations, without second-guessing myself or leaving things unsaid. I’ve strengthened my ability to listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and stay objective — qualities I now bring to both my work and my relationships. I’ve also become more intentional about protecting my time and energy by setting and maintaining boundaries, which has created space for what truly matters: relationships built on mutual respect, time for the activities that bring me joy, and a mindset that allows me to embrace growth with curiosity and resilience. A key shift for me has been noticing my patterns. I now see how emotions like anger highlight what really matters to me. I’ve learned to let go of rehashing the past, of perfectionism, and of obligations that drain rather than energize me. This has given me a deeper awareness of my values — and the courage to be unapologetic about what works for me and what doesn’t. Perhaps the biggest gift has been reframing optimism. Not as blind positivity, but as the recognition that challenges aren’t permanent or universal. This perspective has helped me show up with greater balance, perspective, and compassion. I’m proud of how much I’ve grown in resilience, perspective, and confidence. The program has helped me lean on my strengths — reliability, thoughtfulness, and a commitment to helping others grow — while continuing to develop in areas like empathy and communication.
